Our PIMI Schemes is structured around five interconnected schemes, designed to holistically support youth development and entrepreneurship, with clear applications for building resilient African systems

Be a Mentor

Mentorship

This scheme connects mentees with seasoned professionals who provide invaluable guidance, share knowledge, and help navigate career paths and entrepreneurial challenges. This includes specialized mentorship for young professionals entering the health sector or entrepreneurs developing health-related innovations.

Training

We offer structured educational programs, workshops, and seminars designed to impart practical, in-demand skills. Our training can be tailored to develop competencies in critical areas such as health economics, healthcare financing, digital health, and community health practices.

Internship

This scheme provides practical, hands-on work experience within relevant organizations. Internships facilitate the application of theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, offering industry exposure and opportunities to develop professional networks within sectors like healthcare, addressing challenges related to access and equity.

Volunteering

This scheme encourages participants to engage in community service and contribute to social causes. Volunteering efforts can be strategically directed towards community-based health interventions, strengthening primary healthcare, and addressing the social determinants of health.

Business Incubation

We provide a supportive environment for aspiring entrepreneurs to develop and launch their businesses. This scheme specifically nurtures startups focused on innovative solutions for African development challenges, such as novel health financing models, digital health solutions, or sustainable health infrastructure.

Graduate Training

This scheme is designed to systematically identify high-performing graduates—often referred to as “high fliers”—and provide them with a structured pathway to unlock, refine, and fully develop their innate abilities into leadership-ready competencies.
